Global Village, one of Dubai’s leading multi-cultural entertainment destinations was facing a unique problem. Despite being one of the most sought-after attractions in the city, it was losing credibility with Arab expatriates. So, we decided to use a snack that most Arab nations claims as being their own, and turned it into an all-new medium – the falafel. 5 unique wrappers were created, each inspired by a different Arab country, with sayings and other design elements that were unique to Egypt, Syria, Lebanon, Palestine and Jordan. Across Dubai, some of the most popular falafel sandwich joints served their beloved snack wrapped in these special designs. Reminding Arab expats across the city that Global Village is for everyone.
